Quartz

Hydrothermal quartz is a type of synthetic quartz that is grown using a hydrothermal process, mimicking the natural conditions under which quartz crystals form deep within the Earth's crust. In this process, a solution of water and dissolved silicon dioxide is heated under high pressure, allowing quartz crystals to slowly grow over a period of time.
